Apple Takes A 'Legal' Bite Out Of Taxes
The world's most valuable company is holding overseas some $102 billion of its $145 billion in cash - all legal. The question is... If you and or your company could pay less taxes and stay within the existing laws, would you and is there anything wrong with that? Apple has not broken any laws... then why the special Senate hearing? It seems lawmakers are looking for new ways to tax Americans, to accommodate their spending addiction. More revenue has become a consistent theme in the...  Read more-WITH AUDIO

The Buck Stops Here... Or Does It?
The State Department intentionally obscured the truth about the death of an American ambassador weeks before a presidential election. The IRS intentionally audited people and groups who opposed the president... and The Department of InJustice violated the U.S. Constitution in stealing both personal and business phone records of reporters and editors from the Associated Press. President Obama would do himself well by taking a page from the playbook of fellow democrat, the 33rd President of the United States, Harry S. Truman.  Read more-WITH AUDIO

Truth and Justice in Government... The Irony!
While the President of the United States was heralding ‘World Press Freedom Day’ in 2012… Ironically the Obama Justice Department was secretly stealing the phone records from the world’s largest newswire service in the world, the Associated Press! Interestingly the President issued a statement in 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, but not for 2013. The President stated: “On this World Press Freedom Day, we pay special tribute to those journalists who have sacrificed their lives, freedom or personal well-being in pursuit of truth and justice.”  Read more-WITH AUDIO

The Scandalous White House
The Benghazi 9/11 coverup investigation continues to develop at warp speed. Latest news has the Internal Revenue Service officials singling out groups with “tea party” or “patriot” in their names. Reporters and editors from the AP are at the head of the latest scandal, where the Department of Justice has been secretly seizing telephone records that reveal communications with confidential sources across all of the news gathering activities undertaken by the AP during a two-month period.  Read more-WITH AUDIO

New Bully On The Block: The IRS
Another classic Washington D.C. scandal unfolds — complete with lies, abuse of power and all the drama you'd expect from a Godfather sequel! The Internal Revenue Service apologizes for what it now acknowledges was “inappropriate” targeting of conservative political groups during the 2012 election to see if they were violating their tax-exempt status. IRS agents singled out dozens of organizations for additional reviews because they included the words “tea party” or “patriot” in their exemption applications...  Read more-WITH AUDIO

Sexual Assaults Skyrocket In The U.S. Military
An astonishing 26,000 sexual assaults last year alone. 70 sexual assaults every single day. We're not talking a state, a city or even a country... it's the United States Military. And that's just the cases being reported. Timing sure matters! The Chief of the U.S. Air Force’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response branch, Lt. Col. Jeffrey Krusinski of Arlington, Virginia, was arrested this past week and accused of sexual battery. He’s accused of approaching a woman in a parking lot and grabbing her breasts and buttocks, according to the crime report.  Read more-WITH AUDIO

BenghaziGate Unravels
The attack took the lives of four brave Americans, including Amb assador Christopher Stevens. The Benghazi hearing in the House Intelligence Committee gave Americans the first eyewitness account from anyone on the ground in Libya on that fateful day of September 11, 2012. Unbelievably, it took eight months for this hearing to happen. The question is..... will there be a backlash with the American people and what if any are the repercussions? Might this be President Obama's Watergate? Read more-WITH AUDIO

City Sues Robin Hood
The city of Keene, N.H. is ripping mad that someone is paying the parking meters before they can get slapped with a ticket. As reported in the Union Leader, six “Robin Hood Type Merry Men” troll the streets of the city’s quaint downtown in search of cars parked at expired meters. When they find one, they feed the meter and slip a card under the windshield wiper that says: “Your meter expired; however, we saved you from the king’s tariffs, Robin Hood and his Merry Men. The City reacts….  Read more-WITH AUDIO

I'm Gay
“I’m a 34-year-old NBA center, I’m black. And I’m gay.” … states professional basketball player, Jason Collins. NBA commissioner David Stern said he was proud of Collins for taking a brave stance. Former U.S. president Bill Clinton chimed in: ”Jason’s announcement today is an important moment for professional sports and in the history of the LGBT community.” What motive would a grown man have to share his sexual preferences with the world? I found the answer to that question in a Reuters news bulletin... Read more-WITH AUDIO

To Tax or Not to Tax... Online Sales
The days of tax-free online shopping could become a thing of the past. Tax-lovers unite! The bill is called the Marketplace Fairness Act. The Quandary is this... Governors estimate state and local governments lose about $20 billion a year in sales-tax revenue because of these online sales. Brick-and-mortar retailers have argued that tax-free sales give online retailers an unfair edge and they don't like it. Read more-WITH AUDIO

Real Reason Behind Long Lines and Airport Delays
The indiscriminate cuts span a wide range of federal programs and departments, and you can now add airport delays and long lines to the list. FAA furloughs have started causing airport delays across the nation. Transportation Secretary, Ray LaHood sounded off: “This is a dumb idea. Sequestration is a dumb idea. Not one person in America would use sequester to figure out what to do with their budgets.” To some degree LaHood is right, not one person did... Read more-WITH AUDIO

Common Cold and the Common Flu are Commonly Confused
The question is – Why do people keep popping antibiotics that have no chance of helping them? Studies show that most people expected their coughs to last an average of seven to nine days. Truth is… the average cough lasts about twice as long – nearly 18 days. The problem is the continual and unnecessary use of antibiotics can contribute to the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria. The bigger problem  is…  Read more-WITH AUDIO

Lassoing Asteroids
NASA is planning for a robotic spaceship to lasso a small asteroid and park it near the moon for astronauts to explore? The spaceship would capture the 500-ton, 25-foot asteroid in 2019. Then using an Orion space capsule, a crew of four astronauts would nuzzle up next to the rock in 2021 for spacewalking exploration with NASA's Orion capsule and Space Launch System rocket, both of which are in development.  Read more-WITH AUDIO

Israel Bombs, Syria Denies, U.N. Inquiry Surprise
Israel carried out a series of air strikes to stop Iranian-supplied arms from moving from the Assad regime in Syria to the Islamist militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon. Israel had previously warned Syria they would attack if they believed Assad's army was delivering weapons to the militant group. To further complicate matters, speculation has it that chemical weapons have been used against the Syrian people. In an odd twist... the United Nations announced that they believe the Syrian rebels are responsible for using chemical weapons against the Syrian people. Read more-WITH AUDIO

We The 'Co-Dependent' People
The numbers will give you pause, the impact will stain a nation. A debt that is about to top $17 trillion, an economy that has been in neutral far too long, and a growing entitlement society that is seeing unprecedented numbers. Between 1988 and 2011, the amount of the U.S. population that receives assistance from the federal government grew by 62 percent. That growth is unsustainable. Which begs the question... What is our purpose? Reverend C.L. Bryant, filmmaker of the documentary Runaway Slave has that answer: Read more-WITH AUDIO

Conspiracies Gone Wild
Many Americans believe wholeheartedly that our first, second and fourth amendments are in grave jeopardy. It seems the U.S. Constitution is under siege. So much so that conspiracy theories are popping up everywhere. Have you heard that Barack Obama wants to remain President for life, which the Constitution prohibits. So, first he would have to be sure the populace is incapable of mounting a full-scale revolution, which means eliminating the 2nd Amendment (the right to keep and bear arms) before confiscating all firearms. Read more-WITH AUDIO

Arming The Middle East
U.S. officials concede that crippling sanctions have so far failed.... Israel has renewed warnings it reserves the right to resort to military action to stop what it says is Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons. The result... a $10 billion arms deal that would bring some of the most advanced weapons into the Middle East. Considering the already volatile situation in the Middle East, does the arms sale ratchet tensions up or will it force Iran to power down their nuclear intentions? Read more-WITH AUDIO

Texas Tragedy Avoidable
The recent explosion killed dozens, injured hundreds, and obliterated an entire town. Devastation was beyond words.... “It’s like a nuclear bomb went off,” explained witnesses and local residents. The Boston Marathon of 2013 will be remembered for many things.... yet there is one aspect of this tragedy which will never be forgotten... and that is... the American Spirit is alive and well. The Gun Control Mirage
Despite emotional pleas from families of the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy and broad public support nationwide, the plan to extend background checks to online and gun-show sales failed on a 54-46 vote, six short of the 60-vote hurdle needed to clear the Senate. It’s called ‘Gun Control’, maybe that was the downfall from the beginning. A more appropriate name would be ‘Deranged-People Control’. President Obama blamed a... Read more-WITH AUDIO

Is This The New Normal?

It's been more than eleven years since the devastating attacks of Sept 11... a day which will live in infamy. That single day changed and scarred American lives forever! America stands for FREEDOM throughout the world, but that Freedom is not and has never been FREE! Sadly we are reminded of that with tragedies like this one in Boston. Read more-WITH AUDIO

Budget: Not So Good...
Cherry Blossoms: Excellent

The good news: the President’s budget arrived on Capitol Hill, delivered 65 days after the legal deadline. The bad news: we have a much higher percentage that Washington gets hit with an asteroid than they get hit with any level of common sense! “There are literally dozens of new tax increases in the 2014 Obama budget. In total, they increase taxes by nearly $1 trillion over the next decade.” stated Grover Norquist. On to more pressing news…. I wonder  Read more-WITH AUDIO
